IAGE Lifetime Achievement Award


The IAGE Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual who has made extraordinary contribution to the advancement of green energy over his/her lifetime. The Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor bestowed upon an individual by IAGE.

2024 Recipient

Dr. Arif Hepbaşlı, Yasar University

Citation: For significant contributions made to the exergy field related to renewable energy systems, heat pumps, geothermal energy, buildings and district energy systems in terms of their modelling, simulation, innovative design and performance assessments, and the founding chairman of the Department of Energy Systems Engineering of Yaşar University.


2023 Recipient

Dr. Jerry Jinyue Yan, Professor, Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Citation: For outstanding leadership, research achievements, and advancement of knowledge and technology in energy systems; renewable energy; climate change mitigation; and related environment and energy policies.


2022 Recipient

Professor Chung K. Law, Princeton University

Citation: For foundational contributions to fuel chemistry, reacting flows, and green energy.
